There is not momentous meaning, 2010

Digital banner
Metal, acrylic, red LEDs
19.5” x 50” x 7.6”

The text moving in the screen is a sort of sentence that resembles a banner or announcement: “There is not momentous meaning”. From the philosophical point of view, it is a lapidary phrase; from semiotics, it shows the impossibility language has to be accurate; and from art, it is also paradoxical to talk about absence of sense when there is symbolic production.
